Maria Sorrentino kept up HUEC’s good form with impressive displays in the Intermediate Flat and Novice Fences earning a 3rd and 2nd place ribbon. Julianna Foertsch notched 4th place in both her classes, and Charlotte Wood’s performance in Novice Fences produced a 6th place finish. New member Kate Milford had a notable debut, winning the Beginner Walk Trot Canter class on her first outing for the Pride. Angelina Purcell and Carrie Viscanti also showed for the first time, both competing in the Walk Trot division successfully.

Hofstra Club Baseball made the most of Fall Festival weekend by inviting their Alumni back to campus to face the current squad on Saturday, September 26th, with the younger squad ultimately walking away with a 12-4 victory. The team was straight back to the diamond on Sunday, September 27th, as they traveled to Montclair State University for a doubleheader.  The Pride took the first game 12-4 and came from behind to win the second game 4-2 on back to back suicide squeeze plays in the top of the seventh inning.
