Last week was our "Fighting Spirit" event, which was co-sponsored by many departments within Student Affairs. Thanks to over one hundred and ten participants, we were able to donate about 400 cans of food and a turkey to Saint Martha's Outreach of Uniondale and Lady of Loretto of Hempstead.

a fighter's fitness class. I want to give a shout-out to the student groups who sponsored the event, Newman Club, Hofstra Hillel, Sigma Delta Tau, Delta Gamma and Delta Chi. I had a hard time keeping up with the moves, but appreciated all of the positive energy in the room. It was a great night, which ended with a motivational speech by Cara that was appreciated by all.
