Club Sports Roundup

Club Men's Lacrosse hosted the first round of the NCLL Playoffs against the University of Vermont at Shuart Stadium on Sunday, April 29th.  In a thrilling contest, the Pride were outlasted by the Catamounts 9-8 in overtime, putting an end to a very successful season for Hofstra.

Club Men's Rugby competed in a 7s tournament at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York on Sunday, April 29th. Hofstra came away with wins over Kings Point (40-0) and Monroe College (26-14) on their way to a 6th place finish overall out of 20 teams.

Club Baseball traveled to Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey on Sunday, April 29th to take on the Scarlet Knights in a doubleheader. The Pride battled until the end in both games, but came up short, losing by scores of 9-5 and 7-5.

Despite the results, the Pride celebrate the end to their season with some smiles. Sunday, April 29th, 2018. Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. PC: @Cunninggham via Instagram.
