I find myself wanting to give back in some way after Hurricane Sandy came through the Eastern Coast. I will be donating goods, my time, and whatever needs to be done. I know that as time goes by and people get back on their feet, people sometimes forget to CONTINUE to give back. On Friday, December 7th OSLA is sponsoring another effort to "give back." This time we are focusing on our Veterans. Please join us in HofUSA from 7-9PM to make cards for our Veterans in an effort to show them how much we appreciate what they have done for our country. We will mail the cards to the local VA. Feel free to join us in this small way of giving back to those who gave to us.
Even NBA superstar, Steve Nash of the LA Lakers, knows the importance of giving back. "I am a huge believer in giving back and helping out in the community and the world. Think globally, act locally I suppose. I believe that the measure of a person's life is the effect they have on others. "
