The
2014 campaign has been one of the most successful in recent memory for the Hofstra
Women’s Rugby Club, who advanced to the final four of the Tri-State Conference
Championship. The Pride’s season came to a close with a loss to Marist at
Vassar College on Saturday, November 1st. Kimdinh Tran, Rachelle
Pierre, Margaret O’Callaghan, and Kaelyn Ragonese all were featured on the
score sheet in the match.
Hofstra
Billiards Club had another match-filled weekend, and ‘Team Cruchaga’ ended the
series with a (2-2) record. The games took place at Baldwin Billiards on
Saturday, November 2nd with Tiffany Vuong and Nolan Whitehead both posting
victories for the Pride.
Hofstra
Shooting Club continued their debut season with another meet at Suffolk County
Clays, this week utilizing the expertise of a professional trainer to help
improve their skills. All seven participants saw significant improvement.

Hofstra
Rock Climbing Club had a fantastic turnout on Saturday, November 1st as 19
students made the trip to Brooklyn Boulders, one of the East Coast’s largest
rock climbing gyms and communities.
