VP Dubs: The Man, the Myth, the Legend

Has anyone on campus ever asked you, “Do you have a dog in that hunt?” Or maybe you were told you were “trying to sip water from a fire hose” or were greeted with a delighted “Hi, pal!”

 

If you answered yes, chances are you were “rubbing elbows” with Vice President for Student Affairs, W. Houston Dougharty. Maybe you have heard some of VP Dubs’ many turns-of-phrase that exemplify his friendly, whimsical, and caring personality. But did you know he is a Broadway play fanatic, seeing more than 30 Broadway plays since arriving in August? Or how about that he calls New Mexico home? Or that he moonlights as a Huffington Post blogger? Neither did we!
