Hofstra Women’s Rugby Club got their Spring off to a sizzling
start with an emphatic 24-0 victory over Stony Brook. The away contest took
place on Saturday, March 14th and saw Rachelle Pierre, MacKenzie O’Donnell,
Kim Tran, and Brittany Branch all score one try each for the Pride, for a total
of 20 points. Two of four kicks were made by Kaelyn Ragonese taking the tally
to 24. The team will be back on home soil
on Sunday, March 22nd for a match up against Montclair State.
Hofstra Equestrian Club ended their regular season a with ribbon filled
weekend as they traveled to Middle Island, New York for a show
hosted by local rivals NYU. Results were as follows:

The team will look to continue to ride on their impressive Spring momentum on
Sunday, March 22nd, when they travel to New Jersey for their regional show.
Hofstra Men’s and Women’s Club Lacrosse both saw action this week, with the men taking on CCNY and and the women facing off against Nassau Community College and Ithaca College. The men’s team cruised
to victory with a 21-3 home ‘W’ over CCNY on Sunday, March 15th. The women's squad
played under the lights at Shuart Stadium on Thursday, March 12th,
falling short to Nassau 7-4 in a competitive game. However, the team bounced back with a thrilling 9-8 road win over Ithaca on Saturday, March 14th. Both teams will be back in action
again on Sunday, March 22nd.

Hofstra Billiards had another strong week at Baldwin Billiards as 12 club
members competed in the fifth week of matches for the new APA season.
