An Ode to Jobs, Steve Jobs, that is...

In case you did not see this blog post on The Career Center's blog last week:

On October 5, 2011, the world lost a genius. You may be reading this on one of his inventions, while listening to music on another. No matter what device you are using, you can't deny, Steve Jobs somehow inspired it.

But wait, what does this have to with jobs and internships, outside, of Mr. Jobs having a very ironic last name? Did I mention he founded a company that would and still revolutionize the world? Steve Jobs’ company, Apple, Inc., is hiring, and so are other companies. But in order to work for “the place that Steve Jobs built”, or any other company/organization, you might want to be like Steve Jobs , and get ahead of the rest and be progressive. Steve Jobs did not become an overnight sensation, he worked hard, he planned and he prepared. He was a “critical thinker”. He sought better ways to get things done. So while you sit here reading about his life on the technology he built, why not click the link below and maybe, just maybe, become a little progressive, and innovative. Take your job search to the next level.

"There's an old Wayne Gretzky quote that I love:
'I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.”

Aspire to where you need to be. Thank you Mr. Jobs for the inspiration.
