St. Baldrick's Day 2013

Hey all, St. Baldrick's Day at Hofstra University is today, Wednesday, March 13, 2013, from 11:15 am - 2:15 pm. For the fifth year, we will be shaving the heads of students, alumni, faculty and community members all in the name of raising money for children's cancer research.  Also, we have tried to get women into the fold by including Locks of Love into our event. You can donate here. If we collectively raise $25,000, Provost Berliner will be going under the buzzer!

The Hofstra Roller Hockey team will be hosting the event and will take all donated hair (more than 10 inches) and ship it to Locks of Love for you as a thank you for raising money for the cause.  Hair Express, who has done the event with us the last 5 years, also said they will fix up hair for any women cutting their hair for approximately $10 (based on what you want done).  Please stop by to support today and email event coordinator Tom Kostiw if you have any questions at TK5811@aol.com.
